Professional dancer Ola Jordan would love to replace Alesha Dixon as a 'Strictly Come Dancing' judge - but thinks the whole panel should be replaced

Ola Jordan wants to be a judge on 'Strictly Come Dancing'.

The 29-year-old professional dancer - who won the show in 2009 when she was paired with BBC presenter Chris Hollins - would "love" to join the panel in place of departed star Alesha Dixon, but thinks programme bosses should make an unconventional choice.

She said: "Who wouldn't want to be a judge? I'd love to but I think the new line-up has to be people you don't expect to

be there.

"I don't think they should have [former judge] Arlene Phillips coming back or have [former winner] Kara Tointon."

Ola - who is married to fellow dancer James Jordan - even thinks current judges Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood should be axed in order to freshen up the celebrity contest.

She added to the Daily Express newspaper: "There should be new fresh blood and they should change all the judges, to be honest. They change the dancers so why not the judges."

Following Alesha's move to rival show 'Britain's Got Talent', a host of stars have been linked with the vacant judge's spot, including former panelist Arlene, actress Kara, ballet dancer Darcy Bussell and comedienne Miranda Hart.
