There’s a reason it’s called The Big Concert.

On 21 June, this midsummer night promises to be a musical spectacular when the incredible Gustavo Dudamel will take to the stage against the dramatic backdrop of Stirling Castle, joined by The Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela and with a guest appearance by Stirling’s Big Noise Orchestra.

Get your tickets now from makeabignoise.org.uk and don’t miss out on Scotland’s biggest ever outdoor classical concert and the opening to the London 2012 Festival.

There are more great events happening as part of the London 2012 Festival, the biggest cultural festival the UK has ever seen. Scotland’s programme of events is the most diverse outside of London and will take place in urban settings such as Arthur’s Seat in Edinburgh and the heart of Glasgow’s inner city as well as rural landscapes including the most remote beach cove on the Isle of Lewis and the dense forests of the southerly Borders.
