X Factor judges want Sharon Osbourne back
'X Factor' judges Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh and Tulisa Contostavlos want former panelist Sharon Osbourne to return to the show.
The 'X Factor' judges want Sharon Osbourne back on the show.
Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh and Tulisa Contostavlos think the showbiz matriarch - who was an original panelist on the programme until quitting in 2008 - could make an "amazing" return to the show.
Tulisa said: "I'd love Sharon Osbourne to come back. She's the female boss."
Louis added: "I'd love Sharon to come back too. I always had so much fun with her."
Gary said: "Sharon isn't a stupid suggestion. She'd be amazing.
"Like Tulisa said, she's the ultimate female boss."
Geri Halliwell had been expected to take the vacant fourth judges slot but the rest of the panel were unimpressed by her guest stint at the auditions in Liverpool - during which the former Spice Girls star was booed - earlier this week.
Gary said: "I don't think the audience liked her. She got booed.
"I like Geri, I've known her for years, she's got a good energy but I don't know if she should be on the panel, to be honest. But I'd give her a few more days.
"I remember us guys last year, it took us a few weeks to get into that role of being a voice.
"She was quiet, she didn't have a lot to say for herself."
Leona Lewis was a guest judge at yesterday's (26.05.12) London auditions but insisted she doesn't want the job full time.
She said: "I don't think I'd do it full time, really. I'm busy with my new album."
Mel B - who is a judge on the Australian version of the show - will join the panel at the Manchester auditions, while former US 'X Factor' judge Nicole Scherzinger and 'Pass Out' hitmaker Tinie Tempah are also said to be booked for guest slots.
Despite previous speculation, Gary's Take That bandmate Robbie Williams insists he is not joining the judges at any of the auditions.
He said: "I'm not guest judging. I'm not doing it. I'm not bothered who they get.
"I don't know who Gary would want, you will have to ask him. I'm not helping him at Judges' Houses this time."
