Ed Sheeran's biggest hit once ruined his lunch.
The singer's breakthrough single, 'The A Team', reached number three in the UK in 2011, but he admits it is not to everyone's taste and once left him too embarrassed to order a falafel wrap, after a disgruntled food vendor had angrily turned it off.
He explained: "I was at Glastonbury last year, it was just after it had entered the charts, and I went over to a falfel cart, and there was as big queue, and we waiting in line for about 15 minutes.
"As we got to the end of the line, 'The A Team' was playing on the radio and I was like, 'oh, sick, yeah,' but the man behind the counter just went, 'uuuh' and changed the station. It was funny.
"I didn't say anything because it was a tiny bit embarrassing, because he obviously didn't like it at all and so for me to go up to him and say, 'I wrote that' he'd probably just spit in my falafel or something. So I got a slice of pizza instead anyway."
Ed says he's not sure if there are any contemporary artists he would like to write songs for, but admitted if he could pick anyone to work with, it would be soul legend Stevie Wonder.
He added to BANG Showbiz: "If I could write for anyone though, I would say I think a band, a band would be cool, but most of the people I know don't need any help. I wouldn't mind writing with Stevie Wonder - with, not for - somebody like that would be really cool."
