Big Brother live feed to return
'Big Brother' will screen regular hour-long sessions of live feeds on channel 5* following the eviction episodes on Channel 5 when the reality TV show returns on June 5.
'Big Brother' is to have a regular live feed when it returns this summer.
The 13th series of the reality show will kick-off on June 5 on Channel 5, with regular hour-long sessions of live feeds - which were trialled during the last celebrity edition of the programme, which was won by Denise Welch - to be screened on Channel 5* following the eviction episodes.
'Big Brother' host Brian Dowling said in a statement: "Live feed is back after every live show. There will be an hour on 5*. We did that in January and it worked. When we did live celeb nominations I think over a million watched, which was record-breaking for 5*.
"I think people realised then that there really was an interest in live feed."
The first live eviction of this year's 'Big Brother' will take place on Friday, June 8 at 10pm, just three days after the series begins.
A celebrity version of the show is due to run when the regular series ends at the end of the summer, and a number of stars look set to appear in the programme including former 'EastEnders' actress Cheryl Fergison, 'America's Next Top Model' judge Janice Dickinson, Blue singer Lee Ryan, Girls Aloud beauty Nadine Coyle and comedian Julian Clary.
Fans of 'Big Brother' have campaigned on social networking sites for a return of the permanent live feed, but Channel 5 have refused to change its stance on the coverage.
