Stephen Brady 'expected' Apprentice firing
Fired 'Apprentice' candidate Stephen Brady "fully expected" to get asked to leave by Lord Sugar, despite Gabrielle Omar being fired just seconds before him.
Stephen Brady "fully expected" to get fired from 'The Apprentice'.
The candidate was joined by Gabrielle Omar in a shock double firing from the BBC One show last night (23.05.12), and although he was the second of the two to get asked to leave the boardroom by Lord Sugar, he knew it was coming.
He told BANG Showbiz: "I expected it after last week. Let's be honest I could have easily left last week. But I thought, you know, throw down the gauntlet and see what happens. So Lord Sugar would have to stay true to his word so, 'On your bike!'
"I can read situations pretty well and when Gabrielle left I was fully expecting to get pointed at across the table. Certainly I gave everything I had on that task - well on every task, I put my head above the parapet and tried my best. My strategy was to try my best. I deserve to go this week I know that."
Stephen - who offered to take the lead on the latest task while in the boardroom last week - has "no regrets" about taking part in the show, but does believe he could have gone alone and not with Gabrielle.
He said: "I've got no regrets actually. You can either try something and make a mistake or not try something and never make a mistake. I though I'd put myself out there so regrets, no, absolutely no way. I expected to go. Although I think I could have just gone really."
