'EastEnders' Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks) will go into labour three months early during her wedding to Michael Moon (Steve John Shepherd).
The bitchy character will struggle to cope when she starts to give birth at her nuptials, and believes the stress of the big day may have brought on the labour.
A source told InsideSoap magazine: "This is every mother's worst nightmare. Janine's terrified - she fears all the stress surrounding her wedding has brought on labour. It'll be touch and go whether the baby can make it."
The ensuing chaos will mean scheming Janine - who has walked down the aisle three times before - may not ending up getting married at all.
The source added: "The big mystery is whether Janine and Michael tie the knot before Janine goes into labour. Janine has Ricky and Diane - her brother and sister - by her side. They're both back in Walford for the wedding. So at least she has some family around her."
Previously Janine wed Barry Evans only to calmly push him off a cliff and she once pretended to be a Jewish woman named Judith Bernstein to marry a dying rich man named David.
