Geri Halliwell returning to X Factor?
Geri Halliwell will reportedly be among a number of new judges lined up for the audition rounds of 'X Factor' this year.
Geri Halliwell is returning as a judge on 'The X Factor'.
The 39-year-old singer - who previously appeared on a episodes of the show as a guest judge at the audition stages in 2010 - will be one of a number of stand-ins for Dannii Minogue, who pulled out of negotiations to return to the show last week.
Other stars believed to be lined up include Robbie Williams, Tinie Tempah, Gwen Stefani and Alicia Keys.
Geri suffered on her last appearance with the audience at the audition in Glasgow reportedly booing her.
However it is hoped the change in judging panel last year to include Gary Barlow and Tulisa Contostavlos could mean she will fair better this time.
A source told The Sun: "This is a new panel and Geri might have better chemistry with them. Guest stars bring excitement but they are also a gamble."
Dannii reportedly snubbed a £1 million offer to return to the show after she wanted more money due to the recent revelations Simon Cowell had a brief fling with her.
A source said: "It was so upsetting for her to be described as one of Simon's 'toys' and for him to talk about their fling in such a humiliating way.
"Huge sums have been put on the table and it's not convinced her. It wasn't about money. She could easily have got more than a million. They desperately wanted her."
