Jenna Whittingham is "gutted" to have been fired from 'The Apprentice' because she thought she had a "good profile".

'The Apprentice' candidate Jenna Whittingham is "gutted" to have been fired.

The 25-year-old beauty salon owner - who was taken back into the boardroom by Ricky Martin - admits she was not surprised to make an appearance in front of Lord Sugar after the failure of the wine marketing task, but thought she would have been able to "fight" her "corner" better.

She said: "I was gutted because I psyched myself up after having good weeks previously. I wasn't shocked Ricky took be back into the boardroom because it was on my head that we went with the video. "But I thought I could go in with quite a good profile as to why they should keep me in. I tried to fight my corner, but obviously not."

Despite losing out, Jenna - who is dyslexic - says she had a "fantastic" time on the show, despite it being more stressful than she had envisaged.

She said: "Oh yeah I'd do it again. I had a fantastic time. I'd probably be a bit mad to do it again because I didn't realise how stressful it is. At times you just run on adrenaline.

"Throughout the process I was a good salesperson, I always spoke up, so I thought I had a good profile about me. I wasn't one to shy away. I loved it."
