Rufus Hound has been axed from 'Celebrity Juice' and says a return is "unlikely"
Rufus Hound has been axed from 'Celebrity Juice'.
The comedian was a regular panellist on the show since 2009 but after disappearing from screens during the previous run which ended in earlier this month, he revealed he won't be returning for any future episodes claiming it is the "Keith Lemon show".
When asked about a possible return, Rufus told Digital Spy: "Frankly that's unlikely. 'Celebrity Juice' is the Keith Lemon show isn't it, and so long as Keith's there most people are getting everything they want from it. So onwards and upwards for them."
The programme, is chaired by comedian Leigh Francis in his guise as Keith, and also stars Holly Willoughby and Fearne Cotton.
When asked by his twitter followers why is no longer on the show Rufus said: "You'd have to ask them. I'm done. I'm not on that show any more."
Questioned about why he had left the show mid-way through a series, he replied: "Very busy with other projects."
'Celebrity Juice' has been nominated for Best Entertainment Programme and the YouTube Audience Award at the Arqiva British Academy Television Awards later this month.
