Holly Willoughby caught 'The Voice' producers watching the 'Britain's Got Talent' final while recording their own show.
The co-host of the BBC One series rumbled her bosses tuning in to see dancing dog Pudsey and his owner Ashleigh crowned winners of ITV1's rival talent show on Saturday night (12.05.12) as the blonde presenter prepared to do a link to coach Sir Tom Jones to ask which one of his acts he was sending home.
An audience member on 'The Voice' - which saw will.i.am axe Frances Wood and Joelle Moses, while Tom Jones booted out Adam Isaac and the duo of Matt Clubb and Sueleen Fletcher - overheard Holly saying: "Gallery, I can't believe you've got that up on there!"
A source added to The Sun newspaper: "People in the audience fell about laughing. Even 'The Voice' bosses wanted to know who had won 'BGT'."
BBC bosses were among the 13.8 million viewers who watched Saturday's 'BGT' final, while 6.4 million people saw 'The Voice' on the same night, but ITV producers were expecting a lower figure than normal after starting earlier than usual at 6.10pm.
Ruth Brown, Leanne Mitchell, Jaz Ellington and Tyler James all progressed to the final of 'The Voice', and they will be joined by the winner of next weekend's semi-final between Jessie and Danny's teams.
Tom found it tough to choose after Ruth went through to the public vote but he chose Leanne based on Saturday night's performances.
Jaz managed to overcome a vomiting bug - which also affected Frances and Joelle - to progress through via the public vote, and will saved Tyler.
