Irish singer Ryan O'Shaughnessy and synchronised swimmer Aquabatique are through to the final of 'Britain's Got Talent'

Ryan O'Shaughnessy and Aquabatique are through to the 'Britain's Got Talent' final.

The Irish singer won over the public with his self-written track 'No Name' - a song about a friend who he was romantically interested - after sensationally being allowed to return despite being a contestant on the Irish version of 'The Voice'.

Commenting on his star quality, judge Simon Cowell said: "I wouldn't worry about her because you're going to get so much action after this. You are a brilliant songwriter."

David added: "You are a major talent. You come on to the stage, you've done another original song, which was absolutely fantastic. This girl who won't go out with you, I don't know who she is but she's doing you a favour as you're writing the most beautiful songs about her."

Synchronised swimming act Aquabatique - who appeared at judge David Walliams wedding to model Lara Stone - went up against hoop spinning acrobat Billy George in the head-to-head.

While Alesha Dixon saved Billy, Simon, David and Amanda Holden all opted to keep the watery dance act in the show.

Other acts leaving the show included Martyn Crofts with his unusual 'Doctor Who' Dalek impression and Hungarian basketball dance performers Face Team.
