Danny O'Donoghue to get talk show?
Danny O'Donoghue is in negotiations with the BBC to host his own TV chat show following on from 'The Voice'
Danny O'Donoghue is set to host his own TV chat show.
The 'Voice' coach is reportedly very "keen" to front a new programme for the BBC following on from his appearance on the musical talent series, with producers believing he could be the new Terry Wogan because he is such a "likeable" character.
A source said: "Danny has proved a hit with the BBC1 audience. He's a very likeable guy who talks a lot of sense.
"He's keen to do a talk show because, quite frankly, he loves gassing. He could easily be the new Wogan.
"Producers are always clamouring to find that kind of character as they draw in women viewers especially."
Terry Wogan's chat show 'Wogan' ran between 1985 and 1992 and featured interviews with the likes of George Best and David Icke.
He also worked as the voice-over man on the 'Eurovision Song Contest' for the UK until Graham Norton recently took over.
