Daniel Radcliffe is set to star as a Russian doctor in a new TV drama based during the First World War
Daniel Radcliffe has signed up to play a Russian doctor in a new First World War TV drama.
The 'Harry Potter' actor will play the younger version of 'Bridesmaids' hunk Jon Hamm in the four-part series which will air on Sky Arts.
A source told The Sun: "This is a great role for Daniel and he's pretty excited about the prospect of working with Jon.
"He's a big Mad Men fan and feels he can learn a lot from Don. But Jon knows all about Daniel's qualities, too, so he'll also be doing some learning."
Jon's character will narrate the picture but will also have some scenes with Daniel.
It is not the first time Daniel has taken part in a TV project - his first ever role was in TV movie 'David Copperfield', and in 2007 he starred in 'My Boy Jack' alongside Kim Cattrall and Carey Mulligan.
Since wrapping on the final movie of 'Harry Potter', he has starred in horror movie 'The Woman in Black' and has recently been seen filming a part in 'Kill Your Darlings', where he plays Allen Ginsberg.
