Sam Buttery wouldn't audition for X Factor
Sam Buttery would never audition for 'The X Factor' because he is not sure it would be as enjoyable
Axed 'The Voice' contestant Sam Buttery would never audition for 'The X Factor'.
The 20-year-old singer - who lost out when mentor Sir Tom Jones chose Matt and Sueleen to stay in the live show on the BBC last night (29.04.12) - reveals he would be unlikely to try out for the ITV programme because he doesn't think he would be treated as well.
He said: "I wouldn't be feeling this positive if I'd just been kicked off 'The X Factor'. I think I've been treated really well.
"I haven't tried out for 'The X Factor' but I know people who have and they didn't enjoy it as much. On 'The Voice' you are called every day and asked how you're feeling and you are paid the money to do what you do. There is a professionalism to the show."
Sam, who was kicked off the show alongside Sophie Griffin, admits he is gutted to be out of the show in the first round but thinks it is only the beginning of his career.
He added to The Sun: "I went in and Sir Tom looked really upset. He said he didn't want anyone to go, that it wasn't an easy decision but it was the right one.
"I'm gutted to be out but it's not the end of me."
