'Coronation Street's Kevin and Sally Webster would have reconciled by now if he hadn't fathered a baby with Molly Dobbs.

The tumultuous couple - played by Sally Dynevor and Michael Le Vell - split after Kevin's affair with Molly became public and although Kevin is still in love with his spouse, Michael believes she can never get over the betrayal of him having a baby with his best friend's wife.

Michael told Soaplife magazine: "I think they'd have got back together ages ago if it wasn't for Kevin's son. But every time Sally looks at Jack he's a reminder of Kevin's affair. It's a lot to forgive."

Although Kevin is torn between Sally and Jack, Michael believes there is only one choice he can make.

He explained: "He loves Sally so much but he didn't realize how much Jack means to him until he tries to find ways around the situation. The truth is he can't live without Jack.

"He couldn't live with himself if he denied Jack. Never. He wants both but he isn't sure he can have Sally and still be a father to Jack."
