'Geordie Shore' is Cheryl Cole's "guilty pleasure".
The 'Call My Name' singer is a huge fan of the MTV reality show featuring a group of hard partying singletons in her hometown of Newcastle and admits she often records and watches the programme when she can't sleep because she finds it comforting.
She told BBC Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles: "I watch it. Honest to God it's like unbelievable viewing. You can't not watch though. It's a guilty pleasure.
"I record it. When I watch 'Geordie Shore' it makes me feel like I have familiar accents and I can go to sleep. Is that weird?"
Cheryl, 28, also revealed her favourite character is Charlotte Letitia Crosby - whose on/off relationship with co-star Gary 'Gaz' Beadle has kept viewers hooked.
She said: "It's addictive. Charlotte is my favourite. It's fascinating. I like watching it."
However, despite her love for the programme, Cheryl has ruled out a cameo in 'Geordie Shore'.
She said: "Would I ever go on it? I don't know whether to take as an insult or a compliment. I don't think I would do it, no."
'Geordie Shore' will be back this summer from Mexico only on MTV
