DJ Fresh thinks Dizzee Rascal is "dynamite" on every record he appears on.

The 'Hot Right Now' hitmaker collaborated with the rapper for his new single 'The Power' and was blown away by the way he brought "character" to the song.

Fresh exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "He's really one of the few people I feel is just dynamite on pretty much whatever you put him on.

"When he told us he was into the track and he was up for featuring on it, it just really, just really exciting and really added to it. He's quite a character."

DJ Fresh also said he admires the 'Dance Wiv Me' star for his achievements as a musician - from being a defining artist of the grime music scene, to scoring number one hits in the UK on his own label.

He added: "Dizzee, being one of the first people really to sort of come up with... to have a UK sound to him that really translated for the UK and outside of the UK really cements his credibility and his talent as a rapper."

DJ Fresh is also planning more collaborations in the future and would love to work with a rock band.

He said: "Moving forward, I'd really like to work with bands. I'd definitely love to work with Coldplay or Foo Fighters."

DJ Fresh is on tour throughout the UK in May and 'The Power' is released on June 3.
