Kate Garraway loves Daybreak role
Kate Garraway insists she wants to appear on ITV1 morning show 'Daybreak' for "a long time"
Kate Garraway wants to work on 'Daybreak' for a "long time".
The 44-year-old presenter insists she has no idea who is going to be appointed the permanent replacements for departed hosts Adrian Chiles and Christine Bleakley but she wants to stay with the show for as long as possible.
She said: "I honestly don't know who is set to take over as main presenters, but, whatever happens, I hope I'll be part of the 'Daybreak' team for a long time."
Kate - who has children Darcey, six, and two-year-old William with husband Derek Draper - has remained close to Christine and loves hanging out with her and her old colleagues from her former show 'Daybreak'.
She added to Closer magazine: "I love Christine. I saw her recently and Darcey is obsessed with her. We're going to have to pencil in a boozy lunch together soon!
"I'm still really close to my old 'GMTV' pals too. In fact, we're all flying out to LA soon for the wedding of Carla Romano. The kids are staying at home so I predict it will be a very drunken reunion."
