'Coronation Street's David Platt will blame his wife for his grandmother's heart attack.
The bad boy hairdresser - played by Jack P Shepherd - has been locked in a bitter feud with his granny Audrey Roberts after she demanded her salon back so she could get the money together for a world cruise with duplicitous heartbreaker Lewis Archer (Nigel Havers).
However, when Audrey is struck down during Monday's (23.04.12) episode and taken to hospital after a row with David and he wife Kylie (Paula Lane), he will blame his spouse for the health scare, putting their marriage in jeopardy.
Paula told Inside Soap magazine: "Kylie and David make a good team so I would be upset if they split up. But there's going to have to be quite a big apology from David to win her back this time. She's really hurt that he picked his gran over her - Kylie needs to know she is top priority."
Kylie then drowns her sorrows leading to a huge fight between the pair.
Paula added: "Kylie's totally numb, she's drunk herself into oblivion, dancing on the tables making a complete fool of herself. David goes to get her and that's when a huge fight breaks out. She's at a low point at that stage."
