Ana Matronic wants to sit on Sir Tom Jones' lap on 'The Voice'.

The Scissor Sisters star is seen as a mentor on the BBC singing contest with Jessie J in this weekend's instalment, and although she does not get to sit in one of the turning red chairs on the series, she would love to get to know the Welsh crooner better.

She said: "I really want to meet Tom. I have Welsh heritage myself and I love his music. He is a very handsome man.

"I really want to sit in one of those red chairs on the show. If I can't sit on one I am sitting on a lap. Tom's is the lap I want to be sitting on! I want to be able to say, 'Hey mum, I sat on Tom Jones' lap!' "

However she admits she would not be able to enter such a competition as it is too "high pressure" for her.

She told The Sun: "I couldn't believe it when the call came in. I wish I could be on there every week helping.

"But I could never do what the contestants do as a singer - I would just throw in the towel. It was a really high-pressured situation."
