James Corden would host 'A League of Their Own' for free.
The 33-year-old comic loves the sports-themed programme where celebrities undertake crazy stunts and admits he is surprised he gets paid to do something he loves so much.
He said: "Doing this feels like a good laugh, it's the most fun you can have with your clothes on. Genuinely.
"You sit with a group of people that you not only love but that you admire and respect. If someone had told me six years ago I'd spend a lot of nights sitting with Jamie Redknapp and Freddie Flintoff talking sport, I would go. 'I've won the lottery, that's the greatest job in the world.'
"And then they say, 'Here's your money for the day' and you go, 'Really?' They have no idea that I would do it for free."
James - who also stars in theatre show 'One Man, Two Guvnors' - admits his life has been busy of late but thinks it is a "special" time.
He told the Daily Mirror: "It's an amazing thing to be doing a play on Monday, hosting The Brits on Tuesday, then back to the matinee on Wednesday.
"Then to host a panel show for Sky and open as a lead on Broadway. It's not lost on my how special this moment is.
"These are transient things, they come and go, and I'm aware this is a time that I should try to cherish."
