Richard Bacon is hosting a new Channel 4 show aimed at discovering talents people didn't know they had.

'Hidden Talents' helps find people with no prior experience and helps them hone skills such as free diving, language learning and opera singing.

A total of nine participants will take part in the show - inspired by American Express - and Richard will follow their progress and discuss the science behind hidden talents.

Jill Fullerton-Smith, Channel 4's Commissioning Editor said: "Applying expert knowledge to the concept of hidden talent, this thought-provoking series will show just how remarkable we are as human beings, in an innovative way.

"It will reveal what we are really capable of and for both the individuals in the series and audiences taking part at home, maybe even change lives."

Lisa Gervis, Vice-President Brand & Customer Management at American Express, comments: "Hidden Talent celebrates the stories of ordinary people who discover they have extraordinary talents."

Hidden Talent, inspired by American Express, is a six part series hosted by Richard Bacon airing on Channel 4 at 9pm from 24th April. To find out more and discover if you have a hidden talent through a series of tests, specially designed by American Express, visit facebook.com/hiddentalent.
