Brian Belo is "determined" to win his case against the makers of 'The Only Way Is Essex'.
Former 'TOWIE' star Amy Childs - who quit the ITV2 reality show last year - explained she was part of the 'Big Brother' winner's pilot series 'Totally Essex' alongside Mark Wright, Sam Faiers, and Kirk Norcross, and knows Brian will fight the case all the way.
Writing in her column for new! magazine, she said: "My friend Brian Belo is suing the makers of 'The Only Way Is Essex', Lime Pictures, and ITV because he believes they nicked his idea for the show.
"I can't go into details about this for legal reasons, but I was part of Brian's TV idea, 'Totally Essex', and I'm sure lots of you have seen our embarrassing trailer on the internet.
"I've been good friends with Brian ever since and I know he's determined to win the case. We'll just have to see what happens."
Brian has issued a High Court writ against ITV and Lime Pictures claiming the reality show was originally his idea, and is demanding more than £100,000 in compensation after alleging there was a "breach of confidence" and the company "reproduced or adapted part of a format that he created".
'TOWIE' could face the axe if Brian wins his case, but both ITV and Lime Pictures insist the show was an "original concept".
