Lauren Goodger has been suffering from panic attacks in the wake of her salon being petrol bombed.
The 'Only Way Is Essex' star explained her split from former co-star and fiance Mark Wright, coupled with her public fall-out with his sister Jessica and the attack on her Lauren's Way salon by vicious thugs all got "on top" of her, and resulted in the shock breakdown.
She explained: "I felt like I couldn't breathe. I could feel my heart racing. It was really scary. The paramedics stayed for a couple of hours. They gave me a gas mask and I had a monitor on my heart.
"It happens when I feel run-down and stressed out. I've been feeling really anxious regarding the hard time I receive, then there's my break-up with Mark, my shop being petrol bombed, the filming of scenes with Jess after our row, worrying about how I come across in 'TOWIE', negative feedback I get online, I'm overtired.
"I think it has all just got on top of me lately. I always try to put a brave face on, I want to be strong and front it out but I think you can only do that for so long before it all comes crashing down."
Despite being "petrified" about suffering another panic attack, the 25-year-old reality star has vowed to lose weight in the hope of making her feel less "depressed" about life.
Lauren added in an interview with new! magazine: "I'm petrified. Another thing to add to the list of things I worry about!
"It can be depressing, but I've got to do something about it. I need to lose weight. I don't want to look like that. I'm single, I'm 25. I want to be feeling great, walking around knowing I've got a great body."
