The BBC has released pictures of new Daleks from the set of 'Doctor Who', which are set to be used in the seventh season of the BBC One sci-fi show.
Shots of the new Daleks from the set of 'Doctor Who' have been released by the BBC.
Close-up images of the Time Lord's "most legendary foes" - which are set to be feature in the forthcoming seventh series of the BBC One sci-fi show - reveal various parts of the antagonists including a gun, a broken plunger rumoured to be Dalek Sec and a World War II-era Dalek.
A message on the official 'Doctor Who' website stated: "Here are some sneaky pictures fresh from the set of Doctor Who where the Daleks are being wheeled before the cameras once again. But which design? The answer is ALL OF THEM! (sic)"
A post on the 'Doctor Who' twitter explained: "Sneaky pictures fresh from set reveal the return of perhaps the most legendary #DoctorWho foe (sic)"
The new designs come after writer Steven Moffat previously hinted he might use the "old Daleks" again in the programme, despite them seemingly being destroyed and replaced by a rainbow coloured "new paradigm" in 'Victory of the Daleks'.
He said: "We're not going to lose the old Daleks. We're keeping them. They're coming back. We'll just use them all at once, and have different ranks. All I've done is give the Daleks an officer class."
