Jenna-Louise Coleman relieved Doctor Who news is out
Jenna-Louise Coleman is happy she can finally tell people about her new role in 'Doctor Who' because she's not a good liar
Jenna-Louise Coleman is happy she can finally tell people about her new role in 'Doctor Who'.
The brunette beauty - who is currently starring as maid Annie Desmond in ITV1's 'Titanic' - discovered she had gotten the part of the Time Lord's companion over six weeks ago but wasn't allowed to tell anyone, even her co-stars.
Speaking on ITV1's 'This Morning', she explained: "I'm so excited and it's so exciting that the news is finally out too. I've known for about six weeks or two months but I couldn't tell anyone.
"I said to Perdy ['Titanic' co-star Perdita Weeks] the night before the announcement that I had to go home early for a meeting and she asked what it was for and I said television. I'm a terrible liar.
"I can't say anything about my character yet but her first episode is the Christmas special."
Jenna also admitted Lord Julian Fellowes' version of 'Titanic' is completely different from the James Cameron's movie, mainly because of the huge cast.
She said: "The movie was mainly focused on just two characters but this is a cross section of society. I think there was a principal cast of 89 on this so it was a huge production."
