Ant and Dec think Simon Cowell and David Walliams' 'Britain's Got Talent' "bromance" is "very sweet".
The presenting duo are looking forward to seeing the 'Little Britain' star and the music mogul's flirting "blossom" on the judging panel throughout the course of the ITV1 series, and the Geordie duo believe the pair could turn into a "much older" version of themselves.
They joked: "There was a bit of something for everyone in this first show, including the first rumblings of a new 'BGT' bromance; Simon and new judge David Walliams! They really are very sweet together, just watch their relationship blossom during the series... Somebody said they could be 'the new Ant & Dec'.
"But really, we all know they're the old Ant & Dec. The MUCH older Ant & Dec."
Despite suffering from a bout of nerves going into the first 'Britain's Got Talent' episode of the current series on Saturday(24.03.12), Ant and Dec thought the latest programme - which saw Alesha Dixon and David make their debuts on the panel alongside Amanda Holden and Simon - provided the "best opening" in the talent show's six-season history.
Writing on their official blog, they explained: "We think this is possibly the best opening to a series ever!? What do you reckon?
"He raised the stakes on day one when he said he wanted to find a worldwide superstar this year and wouldn't settle for less, so we were all a little nervous about what we were going to get."
