Matthew Wolfenden hopes he will "still be able to have babies" after injuring his nether region on 'Dancing On Ice'.
The 'Emmerdale' actor - who has a two-year-old son, Buster, with co-star Charley Webb - admitted taking part in a circus-themed episode for the ITV1 celebrity skating show left him "battered, bruised and knackered".
Speaking about his injury, he explained: "They are all right now! That whip was ridiculous, I was
catching myself all over. I hope I will still be able to have babies! I'm battered, bruised and knackered. "I'm so glad not to have that problem of dealing with the whip again. I was more nervous about catching my skating partner Nina Ulanova. I have caught Nina so many times around the face."
The 31-year-old hunk - who is favourite to win the 'Dancing On Ice' final tonight (25.03.12) - explained he is "more nervous than ever" now the show is drawing to a close.
Matthew added in an interview with new! magazine: "I didn't think I would be, but I'm more nervous than ever now there are only a few of us. The atmosphere and the music - it all makes you even more nervous on show night.
"I think everyone is going to get ill! But we only have a week after the final and then we are straight back on the ice in preparation for the tour and we are doing that for five weeks. This show is almost six months of your life. It has been a long, hard, hard slog."
