MTV has commissioned a Welsh version of 'Geordie Shore'.
The new series - entitled 'The Valleys' - will see a group of young people living deep in the South Wales Valleys given the opportunity to leave the sleepy towns they grew up in and potentially change their lives in the Welsh capital, Cardiff.
Over a six-week period, the group will have to balance taking on a new job with getting to grips with a brand new city.
However, the cast will be returning to their former homes throughout the series to visit their friends and family, providing a stark contrast between the hustle and bustle of their new big city lives.
Production for the non-scripted reality show will begin at the end of April, and MTV bosses will be scouring the South Wales Valleys to find potential cast members who fit the bill.
A third series of 'Geordie Shore' - which brought in record viewing figures to MTV - was recently commissioned, with the likes of Gaz Beadle, Vicky Pattison and Charlotte Crosby flying 5,000 miles across the Atlantic to enjoy the legendary Spring Break period in Mexican party hotspot, Cancun.
Kerry Taylor, director of television for Viacom International Media Networks UK and Ireland, said: "There has been an overwhelming response to 'Geordie Shore' from our audiences across the globe - both from a ratings perspective and across social media platforms.
"Love it or hate it, 'Geordie Shore' is irresistibly compelling TV, and the success of the series truly underscores MTV's ability to create buzz and engage with young 'millennial' audiences everywhere."
