Jennifer Ellison became the latest celebrity to leave 'Dancing On Ice' last night (18.03.12).
The former 'Brookside' actress - who landed in the bottom two alongside 'Hollyoaks' star Jorgie Porter - lost out on a place in the semi-final alongside Jorgie, Matthew Wolfenden and Chico, and admitted she had let herself down by stumbling on the ice during her first routine.
She said: "I feel like I fell at the last...the critical point. I just let myself down a bit."
Although show judges Louie Spence, Robin Cousins and Katarina Witt unanimously saved Jorgie, they agreed Jennifer's skate-off performance was better than her original routine.
Jennifer - who was partnered with professional skater Dan Whiston - said: "I really loved it. I just want to thank everyone for this opportunity."
'Emmerdale' actor Matthew Wolfenden and his professional partner Nina Ulanova earned their place in the final by bagging the highest score on the leaderboard, while Chico's skating partner Jodeyne Higgins spoke of her pride in the former 'X Factor' contestant when they made it through.
She said: "I could not be more proud of him than I am tonight. He has brought it all together and it has touched my heart."
