Police were called to a hotel party hosted by Joey Essex after it spiralled out of control.
The 'Only Way Is Essex' star put on a bash at the Jurys Inn hotel in Nottingham following his 'King of Reem' night at the city's Penthouse nightclub, but managers were forced to call police after the raucous party descended into chaos in the early hours of Wednesday morning (13.03.12).
An insider told The Sun newspaper: "There were probably around 15 or 20 people crammed into the rooms and everyone was tucking into the drinks. It was mainly girls in there and they were all fawning over Joey.
"It was very noisy. It was a good vibe but I don't think the other residents saw it that way. Someone from the hotel came up and said the police had been called and we were all told to get out of the hotel immediately."
However, Joey maintains all the guests were having a "reem" time, and claims he left before the bash spiraled out of control.
He said: "We had a great night in Nottingham. It was proper reem. We went back for a bit of a party and everyone was having a great time. I left after a bit and I heard it all got a bit noisy. I'm sorry if anyone lost any sleep."
A spokesperson for Nottingham Police said: "We were called to the Jurys Inn at around 5am following two reports of anti-social behaviour.
No further action will be taken over the incident.
