Heather Trott killed with photo frame
EastEnders' Heather Trott will be killed when Ben Mitchell hits her over the head with a picture frame but the troubled teen's dad, Phil Mitchell, tries to cover up the crime
EastEnders' Heather Trott will be killed when Ben Mitchell hits her over the head with a photo frame.
The larger-than-life brunette - played by Cheryl Fergison - is targeted by the troubled teenager (Joshua Pascoe) in her own flat as he believes she is responsible for telling the police that he lied about his father Phil and his evil ex-fiance Stella.
Ben lashes out at Heather in a moment of desperation by hitting her with the frame, seeing her fall backwards and hit her head on her kitchen worktop.
The mother-of-one is left lying dead on the floor as Ben and his friend Jay (Jamie Borthwick) watch on in horror, Digital Spy reports.
Phil (Steve McFadden) then stumbles upon the crime scene after being released from prison but decides to cover up for his son by faking a burglary at Heather's home and taking away all evidence which links the murder to Ben and Jay.
He comes up with an alibi for the teen duo and tells them to burn their clothes while the frame - which contained a picture of Heather and Shirley - is dumped in the canal.
However, Ben deliberately conceals Jay's hoodie, not wanting it to be destroyed with the other items of clothing.
A police investigation is then launched after Shirley (Linda Henry) finds Heather's dead body in her flat and Ben and Jay are called in for questioning.
