Chemmy Alcott is glad she left 'Dancing on Ice' with a routine she felt comfortable with.
The skier was the latest celebrity to be voted off the ITV1 show last night (11.02.12) after landing in the bottom two alongside former 'X Factor' star Chico, and while she was upset to be leaving the celebrity skating competition, she is glad she went out on a high.
Chemmy told ITV1's 'This Morning: "It's a tough one, I feel gutted because I love the show but also, I went out on a high. I loved that routine, we had the best week, it was fun. If I'd gone out on a routine that I'd struggled with, I think I would be in the worst place now.
"It's been an amazing journey, the competition is so tough and it was just fantastic."
Chemmy - who was partnered by Sean Rice - was grateful to have got through to the quarter-finals of the show because she wasn't that well-known beforehand.
She said: "I could have went out in week one. I went into this knowing I am not really a celebrity, I'm not as known as everyone else. It was fantastic to make the last five."
Battling it out in this Sunday's (18.03.12) semi-final will be Jorgie Porter, Matthew Wolfenden, Chico and Jennifer Ellison.
