Chemmy Alcott became the latest celebrity to leave 'Dancing On Ice' last night (11.03.12).

The professional skier - who landed in the bottom two alongside former 'X Factor' star Chico following the contestants' circus-themed performances - narrowly missed out on a place in the semi-finals of the ITV1 show after head judge Robin Cousins voted to keep the singer in the competition for another week.

Despite Chemmy admitting she was "gutted" to leave 'Dancing On Ice', she is happy the show helped her get her confidence back after she suffered a horrific ski accident last year.

She said: "I feel gutted because I love this competition and I love the opportunity I've been given.

"This time last year I was on crutches and couldn't walk and now I can do this."

'Emmerdale' actor Matthew Wolfenden and his professional partner Nina Ulanova landed top of the leaderboard following their lion tamer-themed performance - which saw him pop a balloon with a whip on the live show - for which judges Robin, Katarina Witt and Louie Spence awarded a score of 28.

Matthew said: "I'll be honest, I do feel like Indiana Jones, I've got whip marks."

However, it wasn't such a good week for fellow favourite, 'Hollyoaks' actress Jorgie Porter, who scored just 6.5 out of 10 from Louie for a performance he described as "emotionless".

He said: "It was emotionless for me."
