will.i.am brags about working with Sir Tom Jones to Cee Lo Green.
The Black Eyed Peas frontman - who is a coach on the BBC One show alongside the legendary singer, as well as Jessie J and Danny O'Donoghue - enjoyed being able to go back to Los Angeles and boast to the 'Forget You' hitmaker, a judge on the US version of the show, about the time he has spent with the Welsh star.
He told BANG Showbiz: "I hung out in Tom's room sitting around and talking about music and sponging up all of his wisdom and taking any chance I can to ask him questions. In this industry you don't get a chance to hang out with legends like Tom often so it's an honour to be around him and pick his brain.
"'The Voice' in America is a big success but the difference between this show and the one in America really is Tom. He grounds it so much and gives it authenticity. I am honoured to go back to America and see Cee Lo and be like, 'I get to hang out with Tom'."
Despite will.i.am's praise of the music legend, The Script frontman Danny O'Donoghue admitted relations between the panellists can get a "little bit sticky" at times, as all four coaches have to battle it out to mentor their desired contestants.
He explained: "It gets a little bit sticky between us sometimes when we want the same artists because we're trying to fight for something that we really believe in. We turn our chairs because it pulls our heart strings enough to turn around.
"We're all really competitive underneath it all and we throw our toys out of the pram to get people on our teams."
'The Voice' will begin on March 24 on BBC One.
