Sally Dynevor believes her 'Coronation Street' character Sally Webster is capable of the murder of factory boss Frank Foster
Sally Dynevor believes her 'Coronation Street' character is capable of murder.
Factory worker Sally Webster finds herself in the firing line after she is caught standing over evil businessman Frank Foster's body when he is discovered dead in the Underworld knicker factory tonight (05.03.12) and Sally admitted she wouldn't be shocked if her character had killed him.
Speaking on ITV1's 'Lorraine', she said: "I think Sally is capable of murder and after being in the show for 26 years, this is the only storyline I've not done before.
"It's been a great storyline, Frank Foster has been such an amazing character, so dark and sinister. It's been an amazing few months."
Andrew Lancel - who plays Frank - has been nominated for Villain of the Year at the British Soap Awards and Sally thinks he should be given the prize.
She added: "He's got to win Best Villain at the soap awards, because he really is such a great villain. I think he'll definitely win that!"
Sally admitted the dramatic scenes have taken their toll but says her three kids with husband Tim Dynevor help to take her mind off work.
She explained: "I think when you've got emotional scenes like that it is very draining so it stays with me for a while but of course I have three children so the moment I walk through the door I'm mum again and it's all forgotten about."
