Tina McIntyre to be accused of stealing money
'Coronation Street's Tina McIntyre will be accused by landlady Stella Price of stealing money from the Rovers Return
'Coronation Street's Tina McIntyre will be accused of stealing money from the Rovers Return.
The brunette bombshell barmaid (played by Michelle Keegan) is landlady Stella Prince's (Michelle Collins) prime suspect when takings from the pub go missing although her co-workers Sean Tully (Antony Cotton) and Sunita Alahan (Shobna Gulati) also fall under suspicion in the ITV1 soap.
According to the Daily Star newspaper, Stella tells her staff: "There's no easy way of saying this, one of you is a thief."
Tina sarcastically tells the customers: "I'm told I'm a thief so you'd better watch your pockets or else I'll be emptying those as well."
However, Stella will be forced to apologise to her staff when partner Karl Munro (John Michie) admits to taking the money in order to fund his gambling habit, of which Stella is completely unaware.
A groveling Stella tells Tina, Sean and Sunita: "I'm really, really sorry I accused you.
"You're all good workers and I should have realised none of you would rob me."
Karl's arguments with Stella over the money will push him into the arms of Sunita, with John recently revealed the pair are set for a steamy affair.
He said: "Karl is very good at lying so lying to Stella isn't a problem.
"I think Sunita is just a distraction for Karl right now. He really likes her company, as she's not quite as strident as Stella is with Karl. He thinks like a typical bloke and is happy with the fact that Sunita is not nagging him like Stella is at the moment.
"It's a bit early to say if it will get more serious between them."
