Lionel Richie to perform at Glasgow's SECC in Sept 2012

Legendary soul singer Lionel Richie will perform at Glasgow's SECC on Thu 27 Sep as part of his Tuskegee 2012 European tour.
The 'Hello' singer has not performed in Scotland since he played the same venue in April 2009.
The extensive tour of Europe will see him perform in 15 countries including France, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Monaco and Luxembourg.
He will be touring in support of his new album Tuskegee, which sees him perform a number of duets with big-name artists such as Pixie Lott, Kenny Chesney, Willie Nelson and Shania Twain.
The 'All Night Long' hit-maker has been performing as a solo artist for nearly 25 years since his early Motown days as one-sixth of The Commodores who gained worldwide attention after touring with The Jackson 5 in 1972. Throughout his solo career, Richie has sold over 100 million albums and won five Grammy Awards as well as a Golden Globe and an Oscar for Best Original Score
The tour will also stop at Aberdeen's AECC on Sat 29 Sep.
