Ant and Dec have been pitted against Keith Lemon and James Cordon in the Entertainment Performance category at the Royal Television Society Awards, which will be held on March 20

Ant and Dec will battle it out against Keith Lemon and James Cordon for Entertainment Performance at the Royal Television Society Awards.

The presenting duo have been nominated for their prolific work including 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here', 'Red Or Black', 'Push The Button' and 'Britain's Got Talent' and will go head to head with their rivals, James for a 'A League Of Their Own' and Keith for 'Celebrity Juice' at the ceremony on March 20.

In the Entertainment category 'Derren Brown - The Experiments' will fight for the top prize against 'Million Pound Drop' and 'The Graham Norton Show'.

Meanwhile, controversial drama 'Appropriate Adult' - which tells the story of serial killer Fred West - has received nods for its acting leads.

Emily Watson - as volunteer Janet Leach who bonds with Fred - is up against Vicky McClure from 'This Is England '88' and Shirley's Ruth Negga, while Dominic West will be pitted against Daniel Rigby from 'Eric & Ernie' and Exile's John Simm for his portrayal of the notorious murderer.

'Coronation Street', 'EastEnders', 'Emmerdale' will compete in the Soap And Continuing Drama category.
