Lorraine Kelly to front Daybreak?

Lorraine Kelly is being lined up to front 'Daybreak'.
The Scottish presenter - who currently hosts ITV1 morning show 'Lorraine - is reportedly set to be the main anchor on the flagship breakfast series alongside a lesser-known male host, with Five News star Matt Barbet thought to be in the running for the role.
In the wake of Christine Bleakley and Adrian Chiles being axed from 'Daybreak' late last year, the rumoured appointment of Lorraine will see her go on air an hour later than the show's current start time of 6am and then stay on screen until 'Lorraine' finishes at 9.25pm.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "It doesn't take a genius to realise the answer to ITV's breakfast problems is staring them in the face.
"The audiences go up for Lorraine's slot and the reason for that is Lorraine. She is down to earth and someone British women can relate to."
"Everyone agrees this is something that could work. She was getting well over a million for her show even when Christine Bleakley and Adrian Chiles were getting just a few hundred thousand for theirs."
No deal has yet been done to secure the 52-year-old star's slot on 'Daybreak', but it is thought current stand-in frontwoman Kate Garraway or ITV news host Natasha Kaplinsky could take the reins as a back-up plan.
After receiving the boot from the troubled show in December, Christine Bleakley - who now presents 'Dancing On Ice' - admitted she was pleased to finally have her "life back".
She said: "I feel good. I'm looking forward to having my life back again, I really am. It's difficult to explain but anyone who does night shifts or those kind of hours will understand that it does start to take its toll on you, so I certainly won't miss 3am starts."
