Corrie's Carla Connor 'capable of murder'
Coronation Street's Carla Connor has "more motive" for killing Frank Foster than any of the other suspects, according to actress Alison King, who portrays the troubled factory boss.
Coronation Street's Carla Connor has "more motive" for killing Frank Foster than any of the other suspects.
Alison King - who plays the troubled factory boss in the ITV1 soap - thinks fingers will point at her alter-ego after the evil rapist is found brutally murdered because of the fact that he "destroyed" her life by sexually assaulting her, being acquitted of the crime and then stealing Underworld from her.
She explained: "Carla has more motive and opportunity than the other suspects. Frank has completely destroyed her life. She's a desperate woman who could do something desperate."
However, with Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne), Sally Webster (Sally Dynevor), Michelle Connor (Kym Marsh), Anne Foster (Gwen Taylor) and Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) also questioned over the murder, Alison thinks Sally is another prime suspect.
After making the shocking discovery that she has been ditched by her lover Frank for a younger model, Sally is the one who later finds his dead body.
Alison added in an interview with Soaplife magazine: "So many people have a motive and a chance to do it. Sally's probably the most likely after Frank used her ... and she is found next to his body."
