DOI's Matt Evers won't be scarred
Doctors have told professional skater Matt Evers he won't be left with scarring after 'Dancing On Ice' partner jorgie Porter accidentally slashed his face with a skate.
Matt Evers will not be scarred from his facial injury.
The professional skater suffered a gash to the head during training last week when 'Dancing On Ice' partner Jorgie Porter accidentally slashed his face with her skate while practising a necklace lift.
However, doctors quickly treated the wound with internal stitches, meaning he will not be left with a permanent reminder of the injury, The Sun newspaper reports.
Matt admitted he has been in pain following the dramatic incident, but is not letting it interfere with preparations for the ITV1 show.
He tweeted: "Wow... Feelin like I've been hit by a truck today but just finished choreography and LOVE IT! Super excited! Thx again 4 all your messages. (sic)"
Matt's accident isn't the only medical disaster the stars of this year's series have suffered.
Former 'Brookside' actress Jennifer Ellison suffered a cut to her head during the live show two weeks ago when she hit herself with the blade of her skate.
Elsewhere, Chesney Hawkes was forced to drop out before the series started after breaking his leg, while actors Charlene Tilton and Corey Feldman both injured their shoulders.
