Sam Nixon is "gutted" to have left 'Dancing On Ice'.
The children's TV presenter - who was voted off the ITV1 show on Sunday night (26.02.12) after landing in the bottom two alongside singer Chico - admitted he is worried about no longer being a part of the celebrity skating series because he thinks he will pile weight on.
He explained: "I'm gutted I'm out - it's kept the weight off! It's gonna come straight back on now!
"I've loved every minute, it's been awesome - I've really surprised myself actually how much I've loved it because when I first went in I was really nervous and didn't expect to get to week eight at all. The first time I stepped on the ice was terrible - really bad!"
While Sam would have liked to have had his 'CBBC' co-host Mark Rhodes - who was voted off the show in the second week of the competition - with him for longer on 'Dancing On Ice', he enjoyed having his pal there to support him as the series progressed.
He added in an interview with ITV1's 'This Morning': "It would've been nice to have had him there for an extra few weeks, but to be honest, get rid of the dead weight ... ha!
"But no, bless him, he was there every week supporting, which was lovely and it's great because he's been through it so he knew exactly what I was going through."
