An unknown choreographer is set to replace Alesha Dixon on the 'Strictly Come Dancing' judging panel.
Karen Bruce - who is behind the Take That musical - is being lined up by bosses of the BBC One show to become the new judge after Alesha quit in favour of 'Britain's Got Talent'.
Karen - who has previously worked on 'Strictly' and 'So You Think You Can Dance' - has impressed with two screen tests and also has the support of many of the show's professional dancers.
However, her lack of fame may put producers off as they think it's important viewers can recognise the judges.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Karen has really impressed bosses. She is gutsy and ballsy and not afraid to give her opinion or say what she thinks - which is just what 'Strictly' needs. She also comes with an expert knowledge of dance.
"Alesha had a high profile but she never had that detailed knowledge. But the major concern is that Karen is far from a household name - and this could still get in the way of her getting the job."
After Alesha quit, producers came up with a shortlist to replace her which included former 'Strictly' professional Karen Hardy and 2010 winner Kara Tointon.
The rest of the judging panel is made up of Craig Revel Horwood, Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli.
