Mark Wright gets career advice from Ant and Dec
Mark Wright says Ant and Dec are his presenting heroes and he has turned to them for advice in his new career
Mark Wright turned to Ant and Dec for presenting advice.
The former 'The Only Way Is Essex' star will front new challenge show 'My Man Can' for ITV and has asked the Geordie duo for help after watching them present 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!' in which he finished as runner-up.
He told The Sun newspaper: "Ant and Dec are heroes of mine. What they do is amazing. They are total professionals. When I knew I was doing this show I approached them for advice.
"I said I find myself practising the links loads as I'm worried about getting them wrong and they said that's exactly what you have to do. Dec was saying they practise over and over so when it comes to the actual show they feel confident.
"They even said it was fine to be nervous as it keeps you on your toes."
Meanwhile, Mark revealed he is confident in his abilities despite his nerves as he believes show bosses wouldn't have asked him to present the programme if they didn't rate him.
The hunk - who presents 'Take Me Out' spin-off show 'Take Me Out: The Gossip' - explained: "I just think to myself that I must be able to do this as if I couldn't they wouldn't have asked me to do it.
"I know that sounds weird but it gets me through and I think that I've done OK with it."
