DF Concerts and Tennent’s Lager today unveiled that Florence and the Machine and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds will be two of the big acts playing at Balado this summer. Flame-haired and big-lunged star Florence had her second full-length record, Ceremonials, named album of the year by Q in 2011. The single No Light, No Light is out now. Noel Gallagher's new band, following his split with brother Noel, is booked to play the SECC, Glasgow, on 24 Feb.

Also announced were The Vaccines, The Maccabees, NME faves Two Door Cinema Club, Frank Turner and Miles Kane (of The Last Shadow Puppets fame), as well as The Horrors and Maverick Sabre.

The Stone Roses are already set to play the Main Stage of the festival, which runs from Fri 6 Jun--Sun 8 Jun, with the other big headliners to be revealed this Thursday (23 Feb – The List's money is on Kanye West).
