'The Only Way Is Essex' star Lauren Goodger's new salon has been attacked in what is believed to have been a petrol bombing
Lauren Goodger's new salon has been attacked.
Last night (15.02.12), less than 24 hours after the 'Only Way Is Essex' star opened her Lauren's Way store to the public, thugs targeted the shop in what is thought to be a random act of violence.
With broken glass strewn across the pavement as a result of what was believed to be a petrol bomb, a policeman guarded the ransacked boutique in front of a crime scene tape throughout the night, MailOnline reports.
Just a matter before the attack, Lauren had admitted she was touched by the army of fans who turned out to support her at the launch of Lauren's Way.
She said: "Thanks for everyone who have come into the shop today! Very sweet! We are officially opened press launch next week.
"Ahh just met the sweetest girl she cried on me 2nd girl who has cried on me 2day.. Makes me want 2 cry! So kind of you glad I inspire u. (sic)"
However, Lauren is not the only 'TOWIE' star to have come under attack in recent months.
In October, sisters Sam and Billie Faiers were taken to hospital after being set upon by a vicious girl gang following a night out.
Sam said at the time: "They just came at me like a herd of elephants. It's just a blur. I was being so violently attacked by so many girls there was nothing I could do but curl up into a ball. Then I passed out.
"I was smashed to the ground and just beaten. I was punched in the face and kicked in the head.
"I've been told one girl started screaming. She thought they had killed me because I wasn't moving. If a kick had landed any differently I could be dead."
