Eamonn Holmes has topped a new TV rich list.

The 'This Morning' presenter - who co-hosts the ITV1 daytime show on Fridays alongside his wife Ruth Langsford - was named Britain's wealthiest television star in OK! magazine's official list of top earning celebrities after taking home a £2.8 million pay cheque in 2011.

Former 'The Only Way Is Essex' beauty Amy Childs and 'TV Burp' star Harry Hill - who has reportedly been offered a £4 million deal to renew his contract with ITV1 - ranked in joint second place, earning £2.75 million apiece in 2011.

Meanwhile, the Hairy Bikers - David Myers and Si King - and Top Gear's James May polled in joint fourth place with £2.5 million.

Rounding off the list of the UK's wealthiest TV stars were James' 'Top Gear' co-star Richard Hammond, 'X Factor' presenter Dermot O'Leary, cook Lorraine Pascale, football pundit Alan Hansen and axed 'Daybreak' host Adrian Chiles.

However, a number of TV stars also made it into the main celebrity rich list.

Simon Cowell topped OK! magazine's 2011 rankings after raking in a staggering £57 million throughout the year thanks to launching 'The X Factor' in the US and the continued success of the UK version of the talent show, as well as 'Britain's Got Talent'.

Elsewhere, Geordie presenting duo Ant and Dec raked in some £22 million, while celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay took home £12 million.

I cannot believe that dermot o;leary is among tv's rich people as to my mind he is a complete and utter bore. He presented this years itv awards and used the same stupid method of presentation as he does in x-factor. If only he would talk in a normal manner programs that he presents could be more enjoyable. our pet name for him at home is dermot o'dreary. Wake up dermot because if you don't you will never ever win an award in the future itv awards.
