Amy Childs has hit back at 'The Only Way Is Essex' newcomer Georgina Dorsett for slamming her career, insisting she's a very successful businesswoman
Amy Childs has hit back at 'The Only Way Is Essex' newcomer Georgina Dorsett for slamming her career.
The 21-year-old redhead - who quit the ITV2 reality show last year - was furious when she heard Georgina had claimed she wasn't a proper businesswoman, as she was too busy worrying about how she looked.
Amy said: "I heard Georgina was slagging off my career, saying she is a businesswoman - but I am one too.
"I have my own salon, I've got my own clothing range, I've got my own eyelashes and fake tan ranges. How on earth can you say I'm not a businesswoman?"
The former beautician - who brought vajazzling, the decorating of a woman's intimate parts, into the public eye - admitted while Georgina is a "beautiful girl", she doesn't appreciate it when people "slate" her.
Amy told the Daily Star newspaper: "Georgina is a beautiful girl and I'm sure she will get a lot of endorsements. But I don't like it when people slate me for vajazzling. Look how many people are now into vajazzling and how much money has been made from it.
"If I see her, through, I will be like, 'All right, honey?' But I am a businesswoman - that's me."
The reality star's comments come after Georgina admitted she was "more driven by business" than beauty procedures.
She recently said: "I don't spend my days in nail and beauty salons and having hair extensions. And I don't have a vajazzle. I'm more driven by business."
